Description

This tour is a real treat for anyone with advanced riding technique. If you like hairpin bends and other technical stuff, you've come to the right place. We take the shuttle to Postal, from where the cable car takes us to Verano. Just above the village, we enjoy a marvellous panoramic view over the Merano valley, looking into the Brenta and Adamello group. From now on, the ascent is moderate up to the Wurzeralm, where we fortify ourselves for the long trail descent. The downhill fun begins directly below the alpine pasture. A top-class rock and root trail gives us a first taste of what's to come. Only in Avelengo we get a short breather with a transfer section to the Kathrein Chapel. We enjoy another marvellous view of Merano and then plunge into the next trail section. Several hairpin bends take us down to the Greiterhof. Now the trail becomes more flowy before we enter the final section at Katzenstein Castle. Once again, there are a few hairpin bends followed by an uphill section that challenges the motors of our e-bikes and our uphill skills. What comes next is pure flow at the end, past the Mitterwalder wine tavern. The trail ends in the valley directly at the shuttle.
