Description
Highlights: Beautiful panorama of Merano and environs, Castle Tyrol, Castle Schenna, Thurnstein Castle, cycle path along the River Passer;
Route: We set off with our bikes from Naturno and ride along the cycle path to Plaus and Rablá and on to Tel. We cross the main road and ride down the road towards Merano, with beautiful views of Merano and Environs. We pass the Velloi chairlift and above Lagundo we turn towards Quarazze. The scenic ascent to San Pietro and Tirolo begins. We have a beautiful view towards Tirolo Castle and Thurnstein Castle. Our tour takes us from Tirolo to Kuens and then to Riffiano. We cycle a long way along the Val Passiria cycle path to the 'Torgglerhof' apple cafe. Here we take a well-deserved break. After the break, we descend through the Passeier Valley and pass Merano and back to Naturno.
