Course: Naturno – Castle of Juval – Naturno

This tour brings us to the summer residence of mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner. We take the cycle path towards Val Venosta and just before the snack bar "Radbar" we turn right and cross the bridge. We turn right again, cross the main road and take the narrow street towards Juval. A short but steep uphill ride lies ahead of us, which leads us through the wonderful vineyards of the "Unterortl" farm. Arrived at the Castle Juval, which has belonged to Reinhold Messner since 1983, we can visit one of his six museum. These are dedicated to the mountains and Messner's expeditions around the world. In July and August you might be able to encounter Messner himself in his castle. Furthermore, there is a small zoo near the castle and the restaurant "Schlosswirt", which offers locally produced specialties. We return to Naturno the same way we came.
